Mary Ann's Story

What began as a simple infatuation with jewelry over 38 years ago, has evolved into one of Cape May’s most prominent jewelry stores and long-standing businesses on the Washington Street Mall. Nestled next to the Fudge Kitchen, Mary Ann opened her Cape May store in the spring of 1998. She recognized the unique business opportunity to provide upscale, affordable estate and modern fine jewelry to patrons in the romantic Victorian vacation town.  Known for her decades of expertise in buy and selling fine jewelry, antiques, coins and collectibles, Mary Ann quickly became an influential merchant contributing to both the City’s refined atmosphere and philanthropic ventures.

Mary Ann’s Cape May store is a perfect compliment to her Runnemede, NJ store of nearly 40 years, Antiques & Coins Unlimited, predominantly a buying location.  While many pieces in Mary Ann’s are one-of-a-kind estate pieces, others are more contemporary and brand new. Rest assured if you don’t find your perfect piece in store showcases, it can likely be designed and made from scratch or ordered through one of Mary Ann’s many fine jewelry vendors.
